With a chance of another dusting on the weekend (natural snow means
opportunity for snow-making) it looks like we're in for one last ski on the
long weekend. Thredbo, here we come.

I wonder how much longer it will last?

The snow, for a couple more weeks. Maybe less. But the lifts at Thredbo
closed on Monday. Most of the shops (that hadn't closed already) were
closing down till the bushwalking season starts in a month or so.

In one respect, the shoulder seasons are great with the lack of
people in an area. I've always looked at it as a complete year, there is
no period I don't go into the hills.
